Choose between the following options when it comes to payment

Pay directly online via a secure 3ds payment system with Visa or Mastercard. After choosing the vehicle to rent and the rental period along with the extras, proceed to the booking page.

Pay Now – Fully Refundable 

– Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup 

Pay 15% non refundable – rest on Arrival 

– Pay 15% deposit non refundable and the of the amount when you pick up the car 

RENT WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD

Due to increased regulatory requirements and responsibilities related to road taxes, government fees, traffic violations, and other charges that may arise during a rental period, we now require a valid credit card to be registered for every rental.

A credit card allows us to securely process any outstanding fees that may be reported after the vehicle has been returned, while also ensuring compliance with payment handling regulations and industry standards.

We understand that this may be inconvenient for some customers, but this policy helps us provide a smooth rental experience while meeting our legal and operational obligations. For further information please contact our customer support on info@geysir.is

CARD STORAGE

We securely store your credit card number for 180 days after your rental ends with our payment company. Your card details are never stored in our systems nor at our premises. We use our payment processing provider for storage and later, if we need to access the card with a special key issued by our payment provider. This way we can charge any post rental charges to your card without ever having your actual card details in our office or on our systems. The only charges we would need to deal with after the rental period would be things like a speeding or parking fine surfacing after you had left the country. Any damages to the vehicle would be dealt with when you return the vehicle. You should make sure that the card used for the rental can cover the maximum excess charge for the rental should any damage occur

Using a Coupon Code

If you’ve come across a coupon code from Geysir, you can apply the code at the customer information step in our booking process.

The discount will then display in the summary of your check out page, where you also choose your payment option.
